Presented by The Discovery Film festival in Dundee, this collection of short films from around the world will delight anyone over the age of three. With animated stories from France, the Netherlands, Germany, Sweden and the USA – either in English or with no dialogue at all – there are tales of a mystery fish who will only swim at the surface of the sea, a large green bird having some difficulties with a big bell and a very frisky egg, plus the coolest, funkiest Tyrannosaurus Rex of all time…

The screening is accompanied by a free creative activity relating to the film provided by Story Bees. The activity will start at 09:30, with the screening starting at 10:00

Story Bees

Story Bees run story-centred creative play sessions for children.
Each session is inspired by quality children's stories, giving children the opportunity to explore, learn and discover more about the themes of the text through creative and sensory play in a safe and fun environment.
Run by an experienced primary school teacher and lover of children's books, Story Bees sessions are carefully planned to offer a range of creative experiences to appeal to all children; from messy play to construction, collaborative art to music making.
